Saturday Pebbles Curling (Ages 4-6)
A fun and welcoming first step into curling where young curlers learn the basics of the game while building confidence and making new friends.
Pebbles Curling is a great introduction to the sport for children ages 4–6. Through games, activities, and age-appropriate instruction, young curlers learn the basics of moving safely on the ice, balancing, delivering rocks, understanding the game, and having fun with new friends.
Pebbles curlers use lighter rocks designed for younger participants and take part in activities that help develop curling skills in a relaxed and encouraging environment. Sessions include practicing skills, playing simple games, and building comfort on the ice at each child's own pace.
Parent support on the ice is welcomed and encouraged until each young curler is comfortable moving around independently. Some parents choose to participate alongside their child, while others support from the sidelines. Our goal is to create a positive first curling experience that builds confidence and helps prepare young curlers for Youth League when they are ready.

Saturday Youth League (Ages 7-17)
A fun and welcoming introduction to curling where youth learn new skills, make friends, and enjoy being part of the Galt Curling Club community.
The Galt Curling Club Youth League is a great place for kids ages 7-17 to learn the game of curling in a safe, supportive, and fun environment. Whether your child is picking up a curling stone for the first time or already has experience on the ice, our program welcomes youth of all skill levels.
Youth curling focuses on learning the fundamentals of the game, developing skills, building confidence, and creating friendships. Sessions include coaching and skill development activities led by coaches and volunteers, followed by game play where youth can put their skills into practice.
Our 105-minute sessions include a short break with a snack and a drink, giving youth a chance to recharge, socialize, and connect with their teammates. Parents are welcome to stay and watch or support the program throughout the season, while families who need to drop off their children can feel confident knowing youth are in a welcoming and supportive environment.
Youth can register for either the fall or winter session, with flexibility to choose a preferred Saturday ice time.

A long-standing Sunday morning tradition that brings together Legion members and curlers alike for friendly competition and great camaraderie.
The Sunday Morning Legion League is a long-running rental league that has been part of the Galt Curling Club for many years. Operated independently by the Legion, the league offers a welcoming environment where participants can enjoy friendly competition while connecting with fellow curlers each week.
The league is primarily for Legion members, with other culers also welcome to participate. Registration and league administration are managed by the league itself, with the Galt Curling Club providing the ice and bar service.
