What's Old is New!!

The Galt Curling Club is excited to announce the resumption of the Swing & Sweep for 2023.

 

Come join your fellow curlers and golfers on Saturday, September 23, 2023 for an all-day fun-filled event. We will golf in the morning, have a catered lunch back at the club, then curl the afternoon away. While at the club, the bar will be open and while your team is not curling, we will be competing in trivia. At the end of the curling sessions, an overall winning team will be announced based on a combination of the golf, curling, and trivia scores acquired during the day.

 

The schedule for the event is as follows:

7:00AM Arrive at Beaverdale Golf Course and Drive to starting hole location

7:30AM Shotgun start: 4-person team scramble

11:30AM arrive at Galt Curling Club - Bar is open!

12:00PM Lunch

12:45PM First Curling Session / Trivia for teams in the Second Curling Session

3:00PM Second Curling Session / Trivia for teams in the First Curling Session

5:30PM Announcement of Winning Team, Awards & Prizes

Your entry fee includes 9-holes of Golf (cart included), Catered Lunch, Trivia, one 6-end Curling game (opponent is random), and Prizes. 

Members and Non-Members are welcome! Each team must include at least one Galt Curling Club member, and the foursome will play golf and curl (no substitutions). Entry fee is $480 per team (plus HST). 

First come, first served - once 16 teams have paid up, the event is full - don't delay!
Deadline to sign up is Friday September 15th, 2023
