2024 Yellowhorn Spiel - Second Draw (10:00am)

The Yellowhorn is a spiel aimed at semi-experienced curlers and offers the opportunity to play in a laid-back, low-pressure bonspiel.  Are you new to the club and want to try playing in an event?  This is the spiel for you!  Want to introduce some friends to the sport?  This is the spiel for you! 

The catch here is that the cumulative experience of each team cannot exceed 20 years.  Here are some examples:

• A team of players who have all been playing for 6 years would be ineligible
  • ​4 players x 6 years experience = 24 years experience
• A team of three of the above players plus one new player would be eligible
  • ​3 players x 6 years experience + 1 player x 2 years experience = 20 years experience 
• A team of one player with 20 years experience leading a team of new players would be eligible
  • ​1 player x 20 years experience + 3 players x 0 years experience = 20 years experience

Let's get to the event details:

When: Saturday, March 23rd.  Draw 1: 8:30am, Draw 2: 10:00am
Format: Points spiel played over three four-end games
Cost: $140 + HST/team
Meals: Lunch and catered dinner included!
Capacity: 16 teams (8 teams per draw)

This spiel is open to members and non-members alike: bring your friends and bring your family!

Signups begin: Monday, February 5th  @ 7:00pm.  You must register as a full team through the website.

This event will fill up FAST.  Sign up as soon as possible to confirm your spot.
